I've been editing picture and sound since my first iMac and iMovie (the very first one). Throughout my professional years, I've edited multi-camera concerts, musical press kits, TV ads, documentaries, promotional events, short films, teasers, and music videos. In my time as a Producer/Editor in a high-end recording studio for over 10 years, I honed a deep comprehension of the sound and music recording process and added this invaluable tool to my storytelling. Technically speaking, I'm well-practiced in: acquisition, mezzanine, and delivery codecs; building post workflows; and managing small production crews. Creatively, I've put in thousands of hours behind many Sony, Panasonic, and Canon cameras; tens of thousands of hours at the helm of the edit - and thousands more hours integrating large A/V systems. I'm experienced with RED, Blackmagic, Arri, and Sony RAW workflows (with a working knowledge of 16mm and 35mm intermediate workflows). I have deep, practical knowledge of underlying principles in both the analogue and digital worlds, from camera lens to the home theater screen. I love working with other talented people - and learned long ago - that every great production is a team sport and begins with outstanding communication.
