As the Assistant General Manager, I plan and manage the day-to-day room and related area's operations of the hotel to achieve customer satisfaction and quality guest service while meeting/exceeding financial goals. I am responsible for managing the front desk associate team, hotel daily deposits, payments for direct bill accounts, and the training of new associates on hotel technology systems. In addition, I manage the marketing platforms and group outreach.

As the Sales and Marketing Associate, I was able to achieve hotel revenue, profit, and guest satisfaction goals by prospecting, implementing, and managing group opportunities throughout various market segments as well as coordinating the execution of the business with other internal departments to ensure a smooth and successful experience for the guests. I utilized different marketing platforms such as direct e-mail, snail mail, flyers, social media, and events to effectively communicate and market the hotel specials.

As the Front Desk Associate, I ensured a consistent customer experience to guests at all times. This included greeting, registering, and assigning rooms while providing helpful service and answers pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. In addition, I administered and recorded online reservations and implemented internal audits.

As the Shipping and Receiving Manager, I was responsible for the incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conditions of shipments. In addition, I determined shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet the shipping and receiving schedules, and optimized service and cost.

As the General Store Manager, I oversaw the entire retail team. I scheduled and maintained the employee calendar, recorded employee payroll on a weekly basis, conducted quarterly reviews for over 20 employees, managed the opening and closing store procedures, and conducted daily deposits and recordings.
