As part of ESS Modular, I supervised and worked alongside a team of 8 employees consisting of joiners, an electrician, plumber and tape and jointer, adhering to strict time schedules and completing work to the highest standards for the Ministry Of Defence and Ministry of Justice.

During my time at Fuchs Lubricants, I assisted in issues related to machines losing pressure, die’s breaking, oil changes due to product specification, solids testing of the oils and many more. Introducing process improvement programmes as part of my operations meetings with Stanley Engineered Fastenings, I effectively lead meetings and communicate daily with all levels of management including maintenance, health and safety, technicians and setters. Some examples being cost reduction, waste reduction, simplification of oils solutions for machines and many more to assist Stanley Engineered Fastening operators and Fuchs Lubricants colleagues in their day-to-day workload.

My tenure at Nissan focused on the assembly line. With most employees working across two to three stations, I had been relied upon to cover four and had, over the years, been trained up on many more. This breath of knowledge, coupled with my performance and high standard of work, had seen me taking responsibility for quality checking, and ultimately passing, the work of others; and for training and supervising new starters across numerous stations. I am proud to note that the zone I worked within had the lowest fault record of on the line and had done for some years.
