In August 2017, Apax Partners LLP publicly announced an agreement to acquire ECI Software Solutions, formerly owned by The Carlyle Group. Built comprehensive five-year models for ECI post-acquisition that included the purchase of three Apax’s holdings that will take place in conjunction with the sale. • M&A-Buy side: During the company’s 19 acquisitions (5 in Q4 of 2018), I performed the financial due diligence, integrated the target company's accounting systems and processes, and worked with valuation firms to allocate purchase prices to intangible assets.• Reporting: Worked closely with the senior leadership team, board of directors, and division leaders to build a monthly KPI package that highlights critical areas of the business, including sales performance, customer retention, product penetration and migration, and employee and contractor resource levels. • Financial Planning: Researched, selected, and implemented a budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tool. In addition to greatly improving accuracy, the tool drastically reduced the lead time for constructing and reviewing budgets and forecasts, freeing up dozens of hours for sales and business unit leaders and resulting in ROI in the first year.
