A contract position while employed with Braun Intertec Corp., responsible for the following aspects of the railroad environmental risk management program:- Project management of investigation and remediation projects across the country, including selection and oversight of consultants/contractors, management of multi-million dollar project budgets, approval of remediation/corrective action strategies, review and approval of reporting, and negotiations with state environmental regulators to secure closure of projects.- Risk evaluation and response to inquiries by internal departments regarding various contamination issues. Examples include right-of-way impacts from off-site sources, management of impacted soil and groundwater when identified by the facilities and engineering departments, coordination of all appropriate inquiries as part of due diligence for land sales and acquisitions by the real estate department, and preparation of in-house environmental assessments prior to sale of leased properties.
