As the Director of Inventory Replenishment and Global Logistics at BuildDirect, an e-commerce company specializing in building materials and home improvement products. He brings over 18 years of supply chain experience spanning across many industries, from building materials to retail merchandising software. Jason is responsible for developing and optimizing the inventory replenishment and global logistics processes for BuildDirect.

Recruited to restructure this company and build from inception a growth platform to become a progressive service quality products focus, and e-commerce/supply chain oriented company. Select, hire and direct all managers and personnel.

Managed a portfolio of 20 Brands and a Sales team consisting of 15 sales people (Coast to Coast) and 2 Sales Agencies. Created a competitive sale environment with a transparent company-wide sales results forum. Travelled across North America attending trade shows, building brand awareness, as well as researching new innovative products and marketing approaches. Coordinated travel road shows promoting new products and support out of town representatives. Implemented Brand Captains to focus and build out knowledge base within the field reps.

Managed a Big Box Retail Merchandising Team. Led training and execution of a Merchandising 101 program at all 180 retail locations. Accountable for full Profit/Loss responsibility, budgeting, revenue growth, and maintaining margin targets. Over a 3-year period, constructed an HR infrastructure from the ground up by developing and implementing hiring standards (hired 200), a culture of excellence, H&S regulations, and new training enhanced team knowledge, service responsiveness, and positive brand awareness and brand experience.

Maintained a JIT inventory as well as tracking all shrinkage. Implemented a cycle count process, which was executed monthly. Reduced year-end inventory discrepancies from 130k to 26K in one year.
