Strategically manage Clackamas County and the North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District (NCPRD)'s partnership with the City of Gladstone to bring a new community center, park and two libraries to the Oak Lodge and Gladstone communities. Responsible for general oversight and management of all projects. https://www.clackamas.us/communityproject Key responsibilities include: Help guide work of County staff to implement the projects and ensure the physical needs of Library and NCPRD staff are being met in the documentation of the design; Create and lead work of all necessary consultants, including design and engineering consultants; Review deliverables from all of the consultants; Hire a construction manager/general contractor (CMGC) through the County’s Exemption from Bidding Process and, once hired, direct the work of the contractor; Lead meetings and guide the work of the Task Forces; Provide regular updates to the Board of County Commissioners.
