With over 19 years of experience in the United States Air Force, I am a driven and adaptable business development specialist with a passion for sales and marketing. I am currently participating in a full-time, DoD Skill Bridge Fellowship with Sales Platoon, a leading organization that transforms high-potential military candidates into sales professionals. I am motivated by the opportunity to leverage my military skills and values, such as discipline, teamwork, and resilience, to excel in the sales industry and contribute to the growth and success of Sales Platoon and its clients.As a Business Development Specialist, I am embedded within the Sales Team and involved in various aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads, to pitching and closing deals. I am also undergoing an immersive 12-week boot camp that covers the fundamentals and best practices of sales and marketing, as well as the tools and techniques to navigate the sales landscape. Through this program, I have developed and demonstrated multiple skills, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. I am eager to apply and enhance these skills in real-world scenarios and deliver results that exceed expectations.
