Directs, plans, audits and manages District-wide security operations and emergency preparedness and response. Coordinates policy development, strategic planning, management and employee training in security measures. Coordinates policies and procedures for emergency preparedness to ensure protection of the District’s water and electrical systems, infrastructure, cyber threats, personnel and facilities. Serves as the primary contact with local, state, and federal law enforcement and emergency response agencies regarding matters of security and emergency preparedness.

Under general direction, to plan, direct, supervise and coordinate the management of the District’s fleet assets, plant services and the District’s facilities in broad areas of responsibility which cut across several areas of specialization including the areas of fleet asset management, maintenance welding, steel structural fabrication, HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), indoor air quality, general facility maintenance and cleaning, which includes compliance with all regulatory local, state, and federal programs. Provide daily direction and supervision to the shop and facilities operations supervisors.Effective 2/1/2015, I am also responsible for all District Facility Security and Emergency Preparedness. I serve as the District's Emergency Manager and Project lead for the development of Emergency Operations Plans and Incident Action Plans. I will also serve as the Project Lead for security improvement plans, including site security, camera monitoring, soft/hard security barriers.

I serve as the Chapter Chair of the NorCal-Northern Nevada Chapter of NAFA.

I served as the Vice-Chair of the NCNN Chapter for 2011. I served as the Treasurer from 2008-2010. I also serve on a number of national committees.
