• Managed day-to-day news production to fill local content for HPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered, and website updates to HawaiiPublicRadio.org. • Collaborated with reporters on story idea generation, editing and research. This included audio and copy editing.• Worked with marketing and multimedia department on CMS migration in May 2021. Learned the new CMS and trained news department staff.• Part of team that launched Island Insider, HPR's first news-only email newsletter.• Evaluating current workflow procedures and working on streamlining processes, including new employee onboarding.• Reports, researches and write stories for broadcast and digital.

• One of three producers on The Conversation, the locally produced one-hour news and talk show of Hawaii Public Radio. • Main duties included producing the show, booking and scheduling guests, and editing audio. During call-in shows, worked phones to screen callers at prep them to appear live on-air.• Learned on the job how to use Adobe Audition to edit audio and mix music during news segments and promos.• Conducted two-way interviews.• Coordinated with local mayors and departments directors during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide authoritative information to HPR's audience.

• Beat reporter on Tourism (Hawaii's top industry), financial institutions, and tech startups for Pacific Business News, American City Business Journals' newspaper covering the state of Hawaii.• Published three unique web stories a day in addition to department and feature stories for the weekly print edition.• Attended PBN-hosted events and networked at external events.

• Wrote and edited articles on topics and issues affecting businesses in Hawaii. • Developed magazine's social media initiatives on Twitter (@hawaiibusiness), Facebook and LinkedIn.• Managed signature research projects like the Hawaii Business Top 250 Companies and Hawaii Business Black Book. The Top 250 had previously been outsourced to a data research firm. Bringing the project in house saved the magazine thousands of dollars.• Working in collaboration with several parties, coordinates and manages release of new content on the magazine's web site, hawaiibusiness.com, and blog, blogs.hawaiibusiness.com.
