Brockton, Ma

Wrote news, features and special reports for daily newspaper covering the city of Brockton, Mass., and surrounding suburbs in Southeastern Massachusetts. Shot and produced short videos to accompany online content.Worked with staff photographer to produce the yearlong "Making a Doctor" series, which chronicled the lives of three first-year residents at Brockton Hospital via print and online multimedia features. The series was awarded first place for feature writing, class II, by the New England Associated Press News Executive Association (NEAPNEA) in 2009.
