Shaping and framing company strategy and roadmap to evolve IT services focusingon customer side and balancing scalability and performance vs services costs.Created from scratch a full infrastructure delivery team (around 35 people) withdifferent departments to handle any aspect of IT services and the way that they aredelivered:* Solution Architects* Core Services and Platforms engineers* Network and Telephony engineers* Client Platform engineers* Project Management OfficeUsing a mix of methodologies (PMP, Prince2, ITIL, etc) we have created our ownframework to design services focusing on customers, build and test with differentstakeholders, and defining service operations procedures & policies, specially onfintech side to avoid costs surprise.Our team tackle complicated infrastructure engineering problems – fromcoordinating works with applications stream, business partners, 3rd party vendors/managed services, to deliver complex programmes/projects that provides coreservices to our business.Special one migration of on premise datacenters (in different regions) to the cloud(Azure) moving more than 1200 servers in around 9 months.

Managing an amazing team of 6 people, we take care of system operations and maintenance within the Shared Services Center Infrastructure team for Continental Europe always aligned with Global standards and recommendations. But we know that behind every smart piece of software, every powerful processor, and every brilliant line of code is an even more brilliant person.We cover the system administration and monitoring of computer systems, servers (around 600), storage (HP EVA, PureStorage, NexSan), etc. on premise and starting our trip to Azure cloud based. We proactively work to ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability in our datacenter. We maintain and test backup and disaster recovery strategies annually in our datacenters.Our team has a strong working knowledge and experience of several technologies as MSFT (OS, Active Directory, Exchange, File Servers, FTP services, SCOM, SCCM, PowerShell and Automation Scripting), VMware and Citrix virtualization, Cloud services as Zscaler and Mimecast, CommVault, etc.

Defining, implementing and deploying improvements over different areas at our EMEA infrastructuremanaging a team of 6 members across Europe:▪ Windows Server Administration: Managing a platform of 1800+ servers at EMEA giving agilesupport to business when required.▪ Windows Server 2003 Removal: Decommissioning all our 2003 servers and moving, upgradingand/or consolidating existing solutions to new 2012R2 Servers.▪ VMware: Upgrade of 100+ ESX's from version 3.5 to version 5.5 & a redesign of the VMwareplatform we have covering all ESX's at EMEA. Actually migrating to version 6 and using VMwareappliances like Vsphere Data Protector, Orchestrator, etc. Managing 1500+ VM's and maintainingthrough the whole VM's lifecycle.▪ Active Directory Services: Upgrade of 80+ Domain Controllers from 2003 to 2012R2, DNS servicecleanup and redesign, DHCP services in high availability maintaing the same pattern for BranchOffices (50+) and standardizing Corporate DC's ad HeadQuarters. Redesigning and cleanup ourEMEA AD infrastructure (more than 7000 users, 200 GPOs, etc.).▪ SQL Server: Build SQL Server Farms for different versions to help consolidate databases aroundEMEA and our eCommerce platform, to automate later the process of migrating from a lowerversion to a newer using a DevOps approach via PowerShell as our main tool.
