Subject matter expert on several types of proprietary and non-proprietary office hardware. Maintain and troubleshoot various equipment. Perform preventative and remedial maintenance on several types of off-the-shelf as well as proprietary equipment as needed. Maintain equipment inventory database for entire region. Under general direction, I implement and support local area network (LAN) and campus area network (CAN) hardware and software for the Navy's NMCI network. Analyze customer workflow and procedures to recommend operational support tools and technologies to satisfy customer needs. Ensure workstations/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software/hardware solutions. Provide user orientation on hardware, software and network operations.

As a shop 38 mechanic I worked on shipboard machinery and equipment and assisted other mechanics in removing and replacing parts as needed in the maintenance of ships machinery.

As an Incentive Based Technician, I was responsible for planning my day to service customer's computers all over the Kitsap Peninsula. Duties included in warranty break-fix services for Dell, HP, Lexmark and Best Buy as well as wireless network installations and basic PC installations.

While attending school I received hands on training in component level knowledge; fixing, repairing, and troubleshooting computers; networking experience; and customer relations through CPTC Help Desk experience.

Fabricated, inspected and installed titanium ventilation ducts for new and remodeled airliners. Received in-depth training in structural integrity, quality craftsmanship, and manufacturing techniques for titanium ventilation ducts. Reading and understanding design/installation procedure, including blueprints, was a critical component to the success of this job.
