Turner Group consists of several subsidiary companies. Turner Advisory Services (“TAS”) provides advisory services to commercial debtors and creditors and serves as court appointed receiver. Turner Holdings invests in real estate and businesses for its own account. TBI performs property and construction management services.Since 2003, Turner Group has been primarily engaged in providing general business and commercial real estate advisory services to others through its wholly owned affiliate TAS. Debtor advisory services consist of partner relations, bank negotiations, deal structuring/restructuring, financial modeling, entitlement, financing, development, construction, operations and disposition. Value-added creditor services include market research, project/credit assessment, valuation, restructuring, project management, construction management, business operations, financial accountability, property management and asset disposition.During the 1990’s Turner Group’s business activities experienced steady revenue growth and the company posted annual gross revenue in excess of $50,000,000. Mr. Turner completed an asset sale of his two primary operating companies in 2002.

Projects included subdivisions, condominiums, multi-family rental, hospitality, mixed-use, active-senior housing, office and retail in SE Michigan and Naples, Florida. In 1988, J & J Slavik, Inc. formed the BBC Group to construct single-family homes and the company grew to consistently produce over 200 houses per year. Mr. Turner served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Board of Directors of BBC Group and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of J & J Slavik, Inc.

Mr. Turner started his business career in 1979 as a Commercial Credit Analyst with The Huntington National Bank in Columbus, Ohio. After a brief stint in middle-market commercial lending, he joined The Huntington Mortgage Company as a Commercial Real Estate Lender. Over the next several years, he assumed additional duties, culminating with responsibility for managing the commercial real estate portfolio; the largest construction loan portfolio in the State of Ohio.Mr. Turner is also responsible for helping create The Huntington Mortgage Company’s Secondary Mortgage Department and for structuring the Bank’s first CMBS, a $50,000,000 bond secured by single-family portfolio mortgages.
