This includes various Leadwell, Yami Seiki, Wia, and King lathes and CNC machines. As a leadman for second shift Fabrication, I assist and guide the other technicians on my crew during both production and non-production hours while coordinating our maintenance efforts with ATS management, production, and our Coatings counterpart. I regularly assist my coworkers with the planning and preparation of their tasks each day and use IFS to correct and optimize our work orders. I am also the Technology champion on our Steering Team and work toward innovating and implementing new systems to reduce costs and increase safety.

Worked with operators and engineers to develop CNC programs for Fanuc, Okuma, Haas, and Mazak milling systems. Products and dies were modeled in Creo and CNC milling programs were created in PowerMill. In addition to creating programs for catalog products, special request programs for die repair, welds, and product modifications were created as needed. Once promoted to Industrial Technology Developer, duties included working with IT and Production leadership to develop custom software applications and hardware modifications to upgrade legacy manufacturing equipment with smart capabilities, automation, and networked metric tracking. A custom production management software suite and inventory management mobile/desktop app were developed within the MS Office 365 development environment (modified Visual Basic and C coding) as requested from senior management.
