I started a flooring business when I was 28 years old. I maintained many major commercial and residential accounts with companies like Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, JC Penny. Walmart, Lord And Taylor just to name a few. I worked with Designers. contractors. homeowners and box stores for installtions as well as flooring sales. During that time I learned everything from accounting to installing and running a business. From business owner to laborer, I learned how to excel in all aspects. I was dedicated to the flooring trade and customers. In 2008 I had an opportunity to change my career path. I applied for the Advanced Technology Services Milti-Skilled Career Program scholarship in Mechanical/Electrical and was the first woman to graduate that program in 3 years. I was Maintenance Technician for almost 5 years and had the opportunity to move over to Supply Chain with the same company. From there I have been promoted to Senior Supply Chain Specialist. I have been dedicated to each facility and the customer where I was employed I've enjoyed each and every day of my working life with all the lessons it has taught me. The good. the bad and the ugly.
