• Execution of basic and detailed engineering design, Mechanical & process design calculations, Piping & Equipment sizing calculations and selection of various electro-mechanical equipment, generation of piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), Hydraulic flow diagram, various mechanical engineering drawings & design documents.• Independently create detailed designs, plans, specifications and estimates for pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, tanks and other water and wastewater storage and conveyance systems• Attend various technical meetings, apprehension of scope of projects assigned, generation of preliminary design and engineering synopsis and compiling of documents into hard and soft file folders.• Manage a group of Engineers & draughts men working in one or more projects & providing them the required input & guidance.• Cyclic design input and Review of complete mechanical layouts and design drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.• Preparation and release of equipment datasheets, Review of techno commercial offer, vendor technical and commercial finalization of Mechanical and process related packages for Water and wastewater sector projects• Preparation of Technical/Material submittals, liaising with consultant and client for the approval of Material Submittals & Engineering drawings. • Keeping constant track of Vendor manufacturing plans, Coordinating with vendors for data and design inputs for the completion of proper design.• Coordinating engineering works along with technical clarification for draughtsman and sales, Preparation of bill of quantities.• Preparation of techno commercial Proposals, Tender submissions, Costing & estimation &technical clarifications with client & supporting sales team.

• Review Design inputs generated by the proposals team at project award, including conceptual drawings, process design report and description• Review customer’s / Project's specifications related to mechanical equipment• Generate mechanical equipment technical data sheets, schedules and specifications.• Perform mechanical design calculations related to mechanical & process equipment sizing and selection.• Cyclic design input and Review of complete mechanical layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.• Prepare material requests, review suppliers technical offers, address suppliers to resolve technical related comments, preparation of technical comparisons , and compiling technical submittal for client's approval • Continually updating the project drawings and documents as long as updates are flowing from suppliers and customers comments.• Checking mechanical equipment purchase requisitions and making sure materials are ordered according to the client's specifications and agreed approved designs• Produce detailed designs for a particular project segment, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.• Adhere to company's policies and quality management system in preparation and issuing design documents.• Coordinate with other disciplines for equipment selection and updating project drawings in relation to process, civil and electrical design• Participate in design meetings , progress meetings and vendor's technical meetings as well as Conduct inspection at vendor's and manufacturer’s works when required • Review suppliers' post order documentation and arrange for submittal when required.• Address mechanical design day to day problems and concerns and suggest solutions.
