-Challenged teammates to get better and work harder by constructively confronting negativity, pessimism and laziness.-Invested time to build and strengthen relationships with teammates by inquiring about individual challenges and goals.-Monitored and maintained team chemistry by continually reminding team members about common goal and common bond.-Acted as positive role model to set tone for program and enhanced leadership credibility with teammates and coaches.-Maintained poise, optimism and bounced back quickly after mistakes to show teammates how to respond to negative situations.-Liaised with head coach to discuss collective insights on chemistry, focus and mindset and worked together to co-lead team.-Led team of 105 guys from all kinds of different backgrounds and cultures to achieve and accomplish common goal.-Got to represent football team as well got to represent Eastern Washington University. Lead by example in football and classroom.-Apart of two Big Sky championship teams that made deep playoff runs including national championship game in 2019 and semifinal game in 2016.
