- Met with and interviewed 15 different team members, working in 10 different departments, to learn about their roles within the company. Gained a real-world perspective on the structure, dynamics, and objectives of a successful company in the financial services industry.- Toured the recording studio at LPL Financial to obtain insight into corporate communications, marketing, and social media. Participated in on Open Reel interview to share my internship experience and to encourage others to consider a career in the financial services sector.- Completed DISC Workplace Profile to help assess and understand my workplace priorities and preferences; utilized this opportunity to become more self-aware and to improve my ability to connect more effectively with others.- Participated in Home Office and Summer Intern Investing Challenge— provided $100,000 to use to make paper trades to learn and develop understanding of the stock market and investing options.- Collaborated with other Interns to understand and complete a Rep ID/Master ID file project to determine both duplicates and gaps in the report.- Shadowed several Advisor Development Training Classes.
