Project Team Leader
CurrentAs a Project Team Leader with a mitigation company I arrive at a customers home to determine the extent of damages and what remediation may be required in order to get their homes/businesses back into the condition they were previously. To make these determinations I follow the IICRC standards which are set forth for the mitigation industry. These damages include: sewage backups, water leaks, fire damage, smoke damage, mold removal, and trauma scene cleanups. If it is an insurance claim then it is also my duty to inform the insurance company of any and all work that needs to be done. This also includes sometimes having to determine whether damage is long term from neglect or more recent. Most contact with insurance providers is made through Xactanalysis. Photos and detailed descriptions are uploaded to be viewed by all invested parties. Leading a crew of 1 or more technicians is also part of my positions duties. Not only is it my task to determine who performs what duties, but it also falls upon me to ensure that proper PPE is being worn and that it is worn correctly. All technicians safety is also a concern and is of upmost importance.
