Successful completion of the project involved developing and utilizing the Java programming language on top of the Spring Framework within a Gradle project management system. Additionally, development of the notification service involved creating and implementing database objects through JPA calls and direct SQL statements on H2 databases. The project also involved successful completion of an HTML based user interface that made use of JSON key/value calls and JavaScript functions to provide a seamless user experience. Additional skills developed for the project included requirement gathering, Agile development training, and implementing a rules engine with the Drools rule management system.

Additional duties include utilizing Maven build tools and the Spring Framework, use of multiple version control systems, deploying code changes through a Unix shell, managing complex database objects using Hibernate and SQL, and effectively maintaining a consistent workload. Additionally, completed a side project to create internal training tools for labor allocation that utilized video recording and editing software while learning how to use and document internal tools in Microsoft Excel.
