I work across the whole school helping to supervise activities in the classroom and working with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis. I teach RE whilst covering PPA and cover duties outside the classroom. I undertake sensory intervention and deliver Read Write Inc sessions.

Full time teacher in the Infant class with an age range of 3 – 6 years. I deputised for the Head in his absence and had full responsibility for the whole curriculum coverage including Development Matters EYFS curriculum. I had a child in my class with complex needs and regularly attended TAC meetings. I worked closely with the parents of every child in my care but particularly those who have specific needs, whereby I suggest strategies for coping and ways which will enhance their physical and mental wellbeing. I mentored an NQT student and supported her with her professional development.

Long term supply at Mount Charles School (Dec 2015 – July 2016 then October 2016 – April 2017) working as a Rapid Response Teacher for Maths. On many occasions the students were in my classroom where I could fully support their development and nurture them to become confident, progressive teachers.
