Leading the strategic direction of Environment and Sustainability within the NHSBSA, continuing the transformation of our environment strategy.

Leading and developing the Environment and Resource Efficiency Strategy, for the NHSBSA. Managing the Environmental Management System in-line with ISO14001:2015 and maintaining external certification to the standard across all business departments. Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and other public sector requirements such as Government Buying Standards for all sites across the NHSBSA. Developing and implementing an Environment Strategy aligned to Net Zero by 2030 target.

Leading the environmental sustainability programme for Gentoo Group. I have re-developed and continue to deliver an environmental sustainability strategy, working alongside a network of champions in order to ensure positive change and a carbon reduction. More recently I have expanded my remit to cover environmental management systems where I am developing and implementing an environmental management system to ISO14001:2015 standard. Some ongoing duties include:Develop the Group's environmental champion network to embed best practices. Develop a communications strategy to engage staff on environmental issues and deliver behaviour change. Facilitate quarterly Sustainability Hubs as a method of sharing best practice and driving progress across the Group. Calculate an annual carbon footprint of Gentoo Group, including target setting and benchmarking. Produce and present reports to Executive, Board and Committee meetings on the Group's sustainability performance. Gap analysis of the Group's performance against ISO14001:2015, including appraisal of other options to maintaining an EMS.

Leading sustainability projects across a number of departments within Gentoo Group
