Experienced business development professional with a track record of delivering considerable impact for both Beta and clients across a number of sectors. Over the past 20 years, I've worked with a broad range of clients including large multinationals, the public sector and universities. I can identify opportunities in my network and connect the right people together and I firmly believe that relationships are key in any business. I'm also an expert in communications, with experience of working with clients on a strategic level. I've also produced a number of high impact videos and publications helping clients to raise their profile and supporting market development activities. I am passionate about science and I have supported a number of collaborative research projects to disseminate and exploit their results. I started my career at Beta in 1997 as an adviser to companies in the agriculture, fisheries and food sectors. During this time, I successfully helped organisations prepare research proposals, connect with partners in Europe and access considerable amounts of funding. I am experienced in building consortia, developing a compelling business case for funding and writing high quality proposals. I am now transferring my skills and knowledge in this area to Trinidad and Tobago.
