• Managed a successful, remote business unit of 3 Operation Managers (OMs), 13 Area Franchisees (AFs) and 27 Franchise Consultants (FCs) that supported 1400+ The UPS Store (TUPSS) franchise locations.• Consistently exceeded annual Same Store Sales (SSS) growth goals over 5+ years and surpassed National Retail Federation average SSS growth percentage during each year.• Developed and implemented performance metrics and sales growth initiatives for OMs, AFs and FCs which not only resulted in strong SSS results, but also motivated team members and improved morale amongst franchisees.• Adhered to annual budget by controlling region expenses and managing region P&L.• Enforced TUPSS brand compliance by continuously training, coaching and counseling OMs, AFs and FCs to properly document and address non-compliant TUPSS locations not adhering to merchandising and operational standards as outlined in TUPSS franchise agreement and Operations Manual.• Performed region HR responsibilities, including quarterly and annual performance reviews, salary increases, annual bonus reviews and performance improvement plans.• Provided world-class customer support to each franchise in the region by ensuring AFs and FCs completed all quarterly center visits, which focused on a thorough business review of each location’s sales mix, profitability, marketing strategies, areas of opportunities and any outstanding brand compliance items.• Developed annual region operating plan, which included operations, sales and marketing initiatives for AFs and FCs to implement and use their influence to gain franchisee adoption.• Consistently achieved annual new unit/locations sales goals.• Ensured franchise agreement renewals were completed on time, including the completion of location upgrade requirements.• Communicated and collaborated daily with business partners in Operations, Sales, Real Estate, Marketing and Legal departments at The UPS Store, Inc. HQs.
