As Systems Engineer I was responsible for the recommendation, configuration, installation, support and deployment of all server, storage and backup technology. Some of those technologies included operating systems and management tools and associated software applications for small to medium business and schools in southern Wisconsin. Major Responsibilities: Provides operation and support for all server, user workstation management and network infrastructure including proxies, security, email, SQL, and other server applications. Researches and recommends new server, storage and backup technology including supporting specific Enterprise Technologies such as E-mail, Virtual Private Networks, Database Support, Monitoring and compliance tools and Technology. Provides input on the long-term direction of Infrastructure technology and architecture (server, storage, applications, management tools, etc) for all areas.

Using in-depth knowledge across multiple technical disciplines including Managed Services, IT/Data, Business Solutions, IP-based technologies and Security strategies. Responsibilities to develop and maintained accounts for small to medium business's in southern Wisconsin. Provided systems integration approach including needs analysis, design, procurement, development, integration, training and operational launch for technology infrastructure and business solutions projects. Notable Projects1999 – Installed Kofax order processing system providing OCR order recognition and storage of orders for a food distributor. This allowed business to streamline their order processing receiving fax's converting fax's to digital orders for processing reducing operational costs.1999 - Integrated a windows 2000 servers including lotus notes for messaging and collaboration for food bank in Madison area.
