My career has been focused on content production and strategy, but I have recently pivoted to a teaching strategic communication at Washington State University. In my duel role at Mighty Media Studios I managed a team of rockstar producers making video magic for corporate clients including Microsoft, Amazon, Dell and others, and I supervised post-production for a wide range of productions. In my eight years at Microsoft (MSN) my roles were split between editorial content strategy and video production. On the video side, I developed and produced original and custom branded web series for MSN Entertainment, MSN Lifestyle and MSN Autos. Among my accomplishments at Microsoft, I was awarded two Telly Awards for developing and producing the mini docuseries, Kid Wonders.At Amazon, I launched and led a sponsored video program, where I owned strategy, ideation, pitching and production of custom branded video for advertising campaigns. In another role at Amazon, I led video production for paid social media experimentation, where I drove development of processes for fast-moving, highly iterative content production for social media. In my final role at Amazon, I led production of product/service-related marketing videos for Amazon Web Services.My experience prior to Microsoft and Amazon runs the gamut from large-scale television shows such as The Apprentice, Survivor and The Late Late Show, to no-budget sports documentary filmmaking with Surfing Monkey Productions, and educational content production at Arizona State University. ​I'd love to connect and hear what you are doing in the content space.
