Went in and refactored the entire client side code using the module pattern, and added unit tests. Refactor the way they were doing several things, including adding Fluent Validation to partially save complex models that pass pieces of validation. Rework APIs for proper route handling, and add additional unit tests. Environment: C#, Fluent Validation, MVC5, Ninject, Web API 2.0• Refactored server side code with extensive use of Generics. Located duplicated code that caused repetition when fixing bugs or adding new features. Rewrote most of the code base to centralize thousands of lines of code into a few simple generic base classes with ways to extend for custom behavior per type.• Trained coworkers in how to maintain and continue refactoring. Spent time walking the other developers through how I was able to refactor the code. Gave a few examples and had them start out some generic code on their own so they could experience the process of building the code on their own.
