Real Estate New Media conference hosted annually in Las Vegas, NV from 2008-2010. One of the largest gatherings of real estate professionals in the country. The conference operated for three years as a partner track with BlogWorld New Media Conference.

Served as the President of the association in 2006 & led effort to pass minimum standards for mortgage originators working in the State of Colorado. The regulation passed in 2006 & required all mortgage originators doing business in the state of Colorado to obtain federal background checks & become registered.Participated in the Denver BBB Mortgage Trade Practices Group, Colorado Housing Council, & testified before House & Senate sub-committees on the impact of pending legislation on the mortgage industry in Colorado.Served on several NAMB committees and was appointed to the Governor's inaugural Mortgage Broker Education Taskforce which assisted the Colorado Division of Real Estate with the implementation requirements for 40 hours of mortgage broker pre-licensing education.

Rolled out NAMB certification program, initiated first group of NAMB certified state instructors, delivered 350 hours of NAMB education.Passage of CAMB inspired HB-1161, identified and developed legislative strategy for 2007 Colorado & US legislative sessions. Professional membership increased by 35% from 2005. Improved accuracy and integrity of membership records. Initiated Website & Email projects to improve communications.Convention generated largest profit in CAMB history. Luncheon series highlighted by honorable speakers Gov. Bill Ritter, Rep. Bob Beauprez, Erin Toll & Cathy Williams. Transitioned to full-time management company, streamlined financial reporting & budgeting process. Member request response times reduced to < 24 hours.

Sierra Funding provided home financing for thousands of homeowners throughout Colorado & the greater Rocky Mountain region. At its peak, Sierra Funding was one of the largest privately held Mortgage companies in Colorado as ranked by the Denver Business Journal.

The Western Regional Mortgage Brokers Convention grew into one of the largest non-profit mortgage conventions in the United States. In 2006, the final year of the convention, an estimated 4,500 attendees visited Las Vegas to participate in Education, Business Building, & Leadership training.

The Mortgage Industry Trade Practices Group was a group of community volunteers that served as an advisory board to the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau (BBB). The objective of the group was to promote a fair and ethical marketplace in Colorado through self-regulation processes.
