James Logan is a Senior Software Engineer at Instructure. He possess expertise in javascript, css, html, jquery, angularjs and 22 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "When I was chair of BarCamp Nashville 2015, the person who I was counting on as my volunteer coordinator was suddenly unavailable. James stepped in with very little notice and did an amazing job. He learned the role quickly, created a spreadsheet with more than 50 roles and managed dozens of volunteers on the day of the event, helping keep the event organized and running smoothly. I have fielded many comments from attendees who were impressed with how well-run BarCamp Nashville 2015 was. That is in large part thanks to James' hard work, organization and can-do attitude. James and I met as students in Cohort 9 at Nashville Software School. He easily was one of the top three students in our class. I admired not only his ability to write elegant, functional code, but also his ability to explain and teach what he knew to those of us who didn't catch on as quickly.
