* Application Architect and Technical Project Manager for Schneider’s Capacity Availability Project* Key member of Schneider’s Agile methodologies adoption board.* Engaged in an 18,000 hour effort to re-design Schneider’s legacy transportation management systemwith a projected first delivery of Jan, 2007.Used Agile methodology (e.g. Scrum) to deliver the above project* Lead a 14 person development team in this effort.Effort will allow Schneider to provide a global solution for managing capacity resources across all of their lines of business.* Application Architect and Technical Project Manager for Schneider’s Trailer Tracking Project Led a 30 person development team of Java and COBOL developers based in the US and India* Delivered a 130,000+ man-hour project over a 2 year period that integrated messages coming in from Schneider’s 40,000+ trailer fleet.* Helped design the core infrastructure for receiving, integrating and processing 4 million records a week with an average throughput of 10-12 records per second.* Effort allowed Schneider to avoid purchasing $20 million dollars worth of new Trailer Assets.* Introduced Test-Driven Development at Schneider.* Introduced several best practice software disciplines including: automated builds, formal unit testing and code coverage techniques*Worked with upper management to build a research grant initiative that allowed Schneider IT teams to work on innovative and new technologies.* Technologies used during these implementations included: Java, J2EE, WebSphere, WSAD, Oracle 9ias, DB2, Java Server Faces and CVS.

* Designed and implemented an Oracle Financials based Sales and Use Tax system to ensure Johnson Controls compliance with state and Federal tax law.* Led team to implement a web-based cost transfer system to facilitate the moving of cost information from various Johnson Controls legacy systems to and from JCI’s Oracle Financials system.* Developed a web-based application to allow Johnson Controls system engineers the ability to submit problem resolutions to a central knowledge base.Technical lead on the deployment of a three-tier client/server Customer Relationship Management package to 2000+ end users.
