Note: I am currently on furlough due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Although I am still officially an employee of Sigma Tek, Inc., they have not called me back to work. As such, I look forward to moving on to new opportunities.As Engineering Technician assist in the design of new electronic aviation products. Design, test, repair, approve, and document prototype circuits and equipment. Construct pre-production prototypes from building PC boards to complete assembly. Build embedded operating systems with Windows Embedded Studio. Program in various computer languages as necessary for engineering projects. Involved in every phase of projects from concept to production.Full Stack Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL(LAMP)) / Administrator for Sigmatek.com. Programmed Sigmatek.com's middleware in ASP ( vbscript ) then PHP and MySQL for the Sigma Tek Electronic Data Subscription Service (STEDSS) which distributes digitized engineering documents via an online subscription service that I maintain.Use Adobe Photoshop and a variety of other hardware and software to research, update and maintain Technical Publications to current revisions by manipulating, enhancing, and digitizing publications, photos, and technical drawings.Perform all in-house networking and IT duties including administering an internal service database using MS SQL Server 2012 and Winforms (programmed in C#) in Visual Studios.Perform Technical Support via phone and e-mail as needed to support various Sigma Tek and ARC Avionics products.

As sole proprietor of Warglin, LLC, I develop custom programming solutions. Front end, back end, middleware, or full stack; whatever you need. I can work as part of a team or by myself with little to no guidance. Give me a problem and I will give you a solution.

Solely responsible for the troubleshooting, component level repair, and re-certification of all general aviation aircraft communications, navigation, and pulse equipment. Coordinated with the install section of the shop as necessary. Helped maintain avionics parts inventory. Tracked all time and material, and completed paperwork pertaining to projects for billing and FAA purposes. In June 1998, became the Avionics Assistant Manager as well as continued to perform the duties of Avionics Technician. I assumed managerial duties when the Avionics Manager was not available. Attended required meetings.

Troubleshot and repaired a wide variety of consumer electronic equipment. Tracked all time and material used to repair equipment. Submitted billing information to accounting department. Coordinated with central shop to order parts and access manuals and other reference material.

Troubleshot, repaired to component level, and re-certified army helicopter communications equipment (35L). Performed regular military duties as required.

Assisted the Avionics Manager on the day-to-day operation of the avionics shop. Assisted avionics technicians in all facets of their duties. Provided technical support to customers and technicians in the field regarding various avionics problems. Ultimately I was promoted to Avionics Manager where I supervised and evaluated all personnel in the avionics department and performed all department managerial duties as well as continued to perform all of the aforementioned duties of Avionics Assistant Manager.

Troubleshot, repaired, recertified, and installed avionics equipment in general aviation aircraft. Responsible for all aspects of shop operation. Maintained parts inventory, scheduled all work, maintained customer relations, liaised with the FAA, completed all necessary paperwork, and provided billing information to the accounting department.
