𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡. 𝐈, 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞, 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬. While these experiences are not always easy in the moment, upon reflection, I have found myself to be a stronger and more well balanced person. 𝐌𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞. It has also taught me that in order to do so, organization is key and that is how I have found myself in many leadership roles. Early in my work career my boss at Albertsons (Grocery) was suddenly let go. 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑎𝑛 𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑚𝑦𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓. I achieved positive inventory audits and seasonal sales by breaking down big jobs into smaller tasks for my staff to make meeting our goals more manageable. 𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠. Up until then, I hadn't held so much as a wrench in my hand. The job entailed hard labor, long hours, and an varying amount of problem solving that changed on a day to day basis. 𝐼𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑒𝑥ℎ𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑓𝑢𝑙, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 ℎ𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑠 I have ever had and I did it for 5 years! I was eventually given the the title of Lead Tech which made me one of few that were chosen for quality assurance, damage control, and customer satisfaction.𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. In less than a year I have become a Team Lead in Assembly and I enjoy being the person people come to for answers. 𝐼𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐼 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑦 𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠 𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑢𝑒𝑠 that continues my pursuit to find new challenges. Since taking this part I have created document materials to aide in the execution of daily duties- something that had not been done before. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭. I continue my pursuit to find new ways to improve myself through the challenges I take on. After all, if it was not for those I would not be the person I am today.
