The focus of my work is on the application of technology to improve the delivery of healthcare, both for patients and for clinicians. I am especially interested in how the electronic health record can be leveraged to improve medication management, clinical documentation and clinician handoffs. In 2015 I developed the Boston Children’s Hospital Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program, one of the first ACGME approved pediatric Clinical Informatics training programs in the country.I attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed my residency in the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center. I continued on as a Chief Resident at Boston Children’s Hospital, where I began practicing Clinical Informatics
