Reporting to the President and responsible for the critical aspects of daily operations for an over $30 million revenue organization, including Administration, Products, Operations, and Information Technology. Member of the senior management team of the Correspondent Clearing business and was responsible for all aspects of the clearing business administration. Key responsibilities included managing the 2007 clearing transition project to completion, which involved the creation of the new clearing company, securing all necessary regulatory approvals, conversion of the Scott & Stringfellow affiliate operations associates, customer accounts, and positions to the clearing company, and reconcilement and clean-up of the conversion. In addition to the transition project, was responsible on an ongoing basis for all correspondent conversions, managing Thomson/BETA and other key vendor relationships, acted as Operations and IT liaison, monthly correspondent billing, management reporting, sales support, customer service, and other projects as assigned.

Worked closely with the President and Chief Business Development Officer to develop and implement a multiple channel approach, allowing the firm to recruit and serve Investment Professionals with differing business models. Working with the Business Services Group, Financial Products Group, and Information Systems to ensure that needs are met. Assisting the Chief Operating Officer in daily management of the independent representative business channel. Negotiate requirements, terms of agreements, and costs with external vendors. Research and development of competitive matrices related to desktop technologies. Business Continuity Crisis Manager for the group. Continue to work with areas in development, updating, and testing business continuity plans.

Originated consumer loan applications including mortgage, home equity, automobile and personal loans. Assisted branch manager in managing branch operations. Developed strategies to cross sell bank products within the branch. Increased branch loan origination volume 142% within one year.
