Developed a bio-inspired cephalopod probe under a NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) grant with the potential to be used for subaquatic extraterrestrial exploration on Europa. Designed an 8-legged soft robot with integrated sensing and the ability to move multidirectionally, this robot is able to sense failure in its legs and then use its remaining appendages to travel to designated leg replacement areas.
