Osan Air Force Base, South Korea

Promoted to this senior level management position after six months of serving in the deputy position. Served as the operational leader and direct advisor to the Commander (CEO) for this Battlefield Coordination Detachment. Responsible for the strategic planning, over-all logistics, and coordination of deployment for the 60 Solider organization for general combat support to the United States Forces Korea (USFK). Directly accountable for the maintenance and management for all assigned combat equipment/platforms, transportation vehicles, medical units organizational and facility equipment valued at over $1.5M. Provided effective record keeping and document control support to the administrative aspects of parts, equipment, technical components, commodities and inventory control in the facilities warehouse.

Kaiserslautern, Germany

Key responsibility was the planning and sustainment of logistical leadership by ensuring the implementation of corporate policy for over 10 major operations spanning over 15 different countries throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East ensuring 100% mission success. Principle responsibilities were coordinating all logistic (transportation, maintenance, life support, and personnel) requirements for over 650 personnel.

Bagram, Afghanistan

Key responsibilities were managing the maintenance division for over 150 vehicles, 500 weapons, 113 tactical communication systems valued at over $173 million, while being assigned as the principle advisor to the CEO for the $1 billion National Afghan Trucking Contract. Which included support for 24 subordinates companies spanning over 1,000 personnel. In addition, acted as the organization’s government purchasing authority while managing a $5 million budget.

Movements Officer for the 39th Transportation Battalion (MC) consisting of five Movement Control Teams, a Medium Truck Company, and a Deployment Processing Center that is geographically dispersed across Germany and Italy operating in support of USAREUR, USARAF, EU COM and CENTCOM. Served as the Battalion Training Officer that is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and deconflicting training events within the battalion; responsible for all unit deployment readiness training. Served as the Battalion Unit Status Report representative and Safety Officer. Responsible for the training, health and welfare of three NCOs, and two Soldiers.

Kaiserslautern, Germany

Platoon Leader for a Medium Truck Line Haul Company operating in support of USAREUR contingency operations. Directly responsible for the safety, discipline, morale, combat readiness, training and deployment of 44 Soldiers. Maintain and operate a fleet of 16 M915A3 14-ton tractors, 39 M872 series trailers and related equipment in excess of$3.3 million. Conduct line-haul support of general cargo, ammunition, and other high priority ALOC/999 cargo throughout Germany. Responsible for ensuring the world-wide deploy ability of 3rd Platoon Soldiers and equipment in support of exercises, contingency operations, and full spectrum of joint operations. Additional duties include: Quick Reaction Force OIC, Installation Staging Area OIC, Information Management Officer OIC, Combined Federal Campaign OIC, and Casualty Notification/ Assistance Officer for Kaiserslautern Military Community.

Kaisersluatern, Germany

Serves as a Movement Control Officer for a transportation battalion consisting of HHD, three Movement Control Teams (MCT), a Medium Truck Company, a Deployment Processing Center (DPC) and an Overseas Replacement Center; Provides movement control, transportation services, and in-transit visibility (ITV) for military and host nation movements by highway, rail, barge, sea and air throughout a 3,500 square mile area of responsibility in support of CENTCOM, AFRICOM and EUCOM; Responsible for USAREUR deployment and redeployment operations through Nurnberg International Airport to facilitate power projection and global reach for all Combatant Commanders.

Leads, supervises, and serves as a member of an infantry unit of 10-20 persons, employing individual weapons, machine guns, and antiarmor weapons in offensive and defensive ground combat. Uses individual infantry weapons; lays field wire; performs basic communications functions and operates communication equipment; utilizes camouflage to conceal weapons and personnel; constructs minor fortifications; performs land navigation; performs preventive maintenance on weapons, equipment, and some vehicles; makes verbal reports; administers first aid; operates wheeled vehicles to transport personnel, supplies, and equipment.
