I define and update criteria and practices for evaluating, approving, distributing, and evaluating grants. In addition, I develop and present reports and insights to the board of directors.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:♦ Secured non-profit 501(c)(3) status for start-up foundation.♦ Oversaw disbursement of grants which opened new clinics, enhanced educational opportunities, and increased resources/services for children with disabilities and their families. ♦ Led the organization to receive the Omaha Public Schools A+ Advocate Award for contributions toward the district’s Special Education programs.♦ Expertly balanced technical aspects of finance and accounting management with people-centric tasks, such as building strong relationships with donors and grantees.♦ Created grant evaluation process analyzing leverage, cash flows, liquidity, trends, and performance in key areas: significant measurable impact in children’s lives, strategic and thoughtful planning, skillful use of resources, self-support, diverse funding sources, and long-range project sustainability.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
