Specialties: Integrative yoga therapist, and Yoga Alliance 500 RYT, teaching hatha, vinyasa and restorative yoga teaching all levels of experience; also work with cancer and other patients applying the practices of yoga, mindfulness meditation, breath awareness, and reiki to reduce pain, anxiety, and insomnia and increase well being. I have completed the 8-week training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at The Center For Mindfulness at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn and led several eight week MBSR Based Stress Reduction courses. I am an 800 hour certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher. In 2010 I completed the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy Program which included a 100 hour clinical rotation at an area hospital focusing on cancer patients. I continued to work at the hospital using the tools of yoga to help patients increase their range of movement, relaxation and reduce pain.I am also a litigation lawyer working at a law firm in New York City and formerly with The City of New York Law Department, Special Federal Litigation Division.
