As a Principal with Harness Dickey, I have experience in all aspects of intellectual property law and am proud to work for a diverse set of clients ranging from entrepreneurs all the way to Fortune 500 companies. I have personally drafted, filed, and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications at the USPTO involving a variety of technologies in the electrical, electronic, computer, and mechanical arts, including microprocessors, semiconductor fabrication, telecommunications, solid-state components and systems, satellite systems and components, automotive systems, and a wide variety of other technologies. I also work with start-up companies to increase the value of their IP assets in order to attract funding.I advise clients on all phases of patent protection, from conception to initial funding and disclosure (white paper, application filing or other initial disclosure), to issuance.I pride myself on exceeding client expectations by building patent portfolios that have valuable and varying claim scope coverage, that are written to avoid litigation risks and Inter Partes Review proceedings, and take potential design around attempts by rivals into consideration.In addition to obtaining patents, I am involved in the preparation of various agreements, including license, non-disclosure, non-compete agreements.
