Well TestingPro Oilfield Services Feb 2015 - Dec 2015Shreveport, Louisiana AreaI operated all of the Well Test equipment and maintained reports to the oil company. We worked a team to maintain a positive relationship relaying all pertinent well info. Also included in our well package were hydraulic chokes. I can also operate and repair as well. While not Well Testing I ran a zipper manifold for the frac’s. I would maintain the valves and grease as needed. I was also in charge of opening and closing the well as needed. I mostly worked on high pressure, low volume wells here and communication was key. We had to complete a range of repairs due to high pressure and sand. I also ran hydraulic chokes or plug valve manifolds during drill outs alongside coil tubing units and work over rigs maintaining rates and operating a plug catcher. My reason for leaving this company was to go Contract Flowback. I wanted to start my own business

Well Test Operator/ Field SupervisorGladiator Energy Oct 2013 - Feb 2015Midland, TxI started as a Well Test Supervisor. I worked mostly in an H2S field while here. I operated Well Test equipment alone on a shift. I was responsible for maintaining well info and reporting correctly. Also I Repaired my equipment as needed in the field. Our package included plug valve manifold, separator, and flare stack. I also completed drill outs with a manifold and plug catcher. I was then moved to Manager over the West Texas field. I was responsible for preparing packages to go out, assigning work duties, and billing for completed work. I decided after a few months that the role of District Manger was not my calling and opted to return to the field. I did enjoy being able to communicate on a better level in the field. Thats where Ive always been and prefer it.The reason I left this company was due to a loss of important account. Not only that but the decline in available work played a vital role in the decision. -
Well Testing/Hydraulic ChokesEdge Oilfield Services, Llc Jul 2010 - Sep 2013Sibley, LouisianaI was in charge of opening and closing the well for prep jobs. I would also maintain rate while running in the hole with coil tubing. I would hold pressure as needed while making TCP runs all while maintaining transfer pump to move flowback fluids. After the prep I was in charge of the ground crew for the drill out. My job was to maintain fluid rate out of the hole with a gate valve manifold and supervise the water transfer crew. Afterwards we would start flowback and I was over the hydraulic chokes and sand knockouts. During Well Test I would assist the other crews with repairs if needed. I also worked alongside of workover rigs, wireline units, snubbing units, and coil units. I also was on location for casing and tubing test and other situations that involved flowback or hydraulic chokes. I feel this is where I gained a lot of experience through exposure to various equipment and processes. I left this company due to a sale out. The owner sold out to a rival company and our workload went to almost nothing. I had to make the tough decision of leaving. -
Well Testing/ Hydraulic ChokesWeatherford International Feb 2009 - Jul 2010Kilgore, TexasI was places in the position of Well Test Supervisor when I hired on a Weatherford Intl. I was responsible for well test equipment repair, packaging, and reporting. I was a lead on location during well test. I operated separators, gate valve manifolds, plug valve manifolds, sand knockouts and plug catchers. We reported gas volumes, water rates, chlorides, H2S, and CO2. We also worked alongside of frac equipment, wireline, and coil tubing units. I was responsible for all reporting on location. I left Weatherford because of a management shift. It wasnt so much the management but the people being brought in by them. Not knowing high pressure and not willing to listen or learn from those who have been doing it for a while. We lost a few important accounts because of this. I had to seek employment elsewhere after losing important accounts. -
Well Test OperatorStric-Lan Companies Mar 2008 - Feb 2009East TexasAt Striclan I was Well Test Supervisor during my time. I was responsible for rigging up my equipment and opening the well to begin test. I would report to company rep all gas volume and water rates. I would also make repairs to equipment as needed. I left Striclan due to a decline in work. They were new to the area and didnt have alot of accounts. We lost whatever work we had due to pricing. So we had to move on. They were a great company as far as management but we couldnt compete with locally based companies due to trucking cost. -
Well Test Operator/ Field SupervisorPointe Coupee Energy Aug 2006 - Mar 2008Carthage, TexasI began my employment as a Well Test Supervisor. I was in charge of rigging up my package(manifold, separator, and flare) and flowing the well according to standards set forth. I would report my rates and volumes accordingly. I maintained my equipment in the field or in the shop. My duties also includes monitoring opposite shifts work and reporting. I was moved into a field supervisor position about 6 months into my employment. I was in charge of 8 crews at that time. I would get packages together, assign crews based on experience, bill for work completed, repair equipment, and complete invoices. We also did a lot of production work with gas dyers, separators, and compressors. I left PCE after a sale out of our Flowback/Well Testing Division. I stayed on a while running a track hoe at my previous salary. But its not what i enjoyed doing ,like Well Testing, so I moved on.

Well Test OperatorCetco Energy Services Feb 2005 - Aug 2006Beckville, TexasAfter 3 months I was moved into a Well Test Operator position. I was responsible for the rig up of the manifold, separator, plug catcher, and flare stack. Included in these duties was operating and maintaining the equipment. I was creating and sending reports to appropriate parties. We would collect gas and water samples and test chlorides and water weight. I was responsible for all duties of gathering and reporting. I maintained my equipment as needed. I was the only one on location so becoming self-reliant is a must in this fieldI moved on from Cetco after a major downturn in work. We lost the account to my next employer. (PCE) I stayed as long as I could but I could not stay. I needed to work.
