Responsible for the supervision and delivery of successful client outcomes as lead attorney in a broad array of oil and gas-related transactions and contracts. In-depth experience includes the negotiation, preparation and/or review of the following: common industry agreements (master work service agreements, IADC drilling contracts, A.A.P.L. Form 610 joint operating agreements, seismic and geophysical permits and data license agreements, gas gathering agreements, gas plant and treatment, compression and processing agreements, non-disclosure agreements and letters-of-intent subject to NDA obligations, petroleum industry software licensing agreements and others); land and leasing transactions (oil and gas leases, surface-use agreements, assignments and others); the acquisition and divestiture of producing and non-producing mineral interests; large-tract pipeline right-of-way and easement agreements (new lines and extensions of existing lines transporting NGLs and other hydrocarbons); saltwater disposal and injection wells and easement agreements for saltwater disposal gathering lines, wind-generation leasing transactions and general advice and counsel respecting oil and gas matters. Lead counsel-of-record or co-counsel in numerous energy litigation and commercial litigation matters including clients such as the Bass family operating company (Bass Enterprises Production Company/BEPCO/BOPCO, Sid Richardson Carbon and Gas) and Bass-family mineral interests; Burnett Oil Company, 6666 Ranch, J.M.
