Profile bio

About Jeff Jorgensen

I am a management consultant with expertise in both operational improvement and go-to-market/sales/GTM strategies. My mix of experience gives me a firm footing in both strategy and execution, revenue growth and cost management. I have worked very closely with CEOs, CFOs, and COOs in formulating long-term strategies for their businesses and I have worked hands-on with frontline employees. My approach to most of my work includes top-down and bottom-up qualitative insights, combined with quantitative analysis, collaborative design processes, frequent touch points with clear two-way communication. I am comfortable supervising teams large and small, creating and delivering presentations to small groups of executives and large groups of thousands of employees. I have worn many hats throughout my career and am accustomed to learning things on the fly in order to support whatever my clients need.In my nearly 3 years as a Consultant/Manager at the Alexander Group (the leading revenue growth strategy consulting firm), I led both individual project work streams and, later, large multi-workstream projects with up to 7 other consultants. I developed focus areas in the Life Sciences, Tech, and Business Services industries. The project types I specialized in were variable compensation design, broad go-to-market strategy blueprints, job design and job architecture, go-to-market assessments, as well as other go-to-market topics within the B2B sales and marketing world. In my roughly 2 years with Cognizant, I led workstreams on a variety of project types. Though Cognizant is primarily an IT services company, I focused primarily on true management consulting work within the Banking and Financial Services industry. My work was very operations-focused, including process mapping, process design, and outsourcing assessments. I also had opportunities to work as a project manager on software development projects - with elements of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.During my 2.5 years with the University of Washington I worked intensively on Lean Six Sigma implementation and led the Facilities Department's flagship Lean Team. I also served as an internal consultant for the Materials Management division, creating KPI dashboards, maintaining monthly metrics, developing and executing several strategic initiatives, and advising the Facilities CFO.

Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Statistics, Data Analysis, Problem Solving, and 42 others.
