Serves as the 406th Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) Training Specialist with responsibilityof planning, managing, requesting, scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating trainingprogram for assigned military and civilian personnel. Develops, evaluates, and managescivilian and military training to include acquisition requirements. Schedules quarterly,semi-annual, and annual DA/AMC/ASC training courses for the Brigade Staff and Brigadearea of responsibility. Ensures individual training plans and programs are conductedwithin the Army's training guidance and standards. Maintains liaison with ASC, AMCand other training organizations/elements. Incumbent is responsible for coordinatingall government and non-government related classes, to include ordering, announcing,scheduling, and set-up

Responsible for the accomplishment of duties in accordance with Army policies, procedures,regulations for planning and programming. Conduct interviews for potential employeesensuring skills match position description requirements. Lead a team of twenty-nineprofessionals to include IT Technicians, Supply Technicians, Ammunition Inspectors,Ammunition Handlers and Transportation Specialists in direct support of a government-defensecontract. Ensure that all requirements for ammunition distribution, facilities operations,operations work standards, principles of storage techniques, and transportation criteria’sare met. Direct and review the activities of ammunition receipt, storage, and issuesfor an account valued at over 150 million; perform functions associated with themanagement and control of personnel, equipment, and facilities used in these processes.Direct the issue and turn-in of serviceable and unserviceable ammunition along withcomponents in accordance with directives. Ensure quantities are correct and turn-insare clean and properly packed. Ensure that re-warehousing and inter-depot locationchanges of Class V related items are properly controlled and annotated in the StandardArmy Ammunition System (SAAS).Through National Level Ammunition Capabilities (NLAC)and Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) plan and coordinate ammunitionresupply on a monthly basis to support all installation training and events requiringthe usage of ammunition. Encourages cost-effective use of training ammunition. Recommendsresolution of training ammunition support problems which impact unit training activities.Reviews, evaluates and responds directly TAMIS inquiries from supporting and supportedcommand /unit staffs. Coordinates these efforts with the installation organizationassigned related functions involved in support of training ammunition and TAMIS.

Conducted manpower and business process studies of this multifunctional organization.Identified resource needs, organizational structure and interfaces. Conducted readinesssurveys that encompassed organizational management audits of the logistics missionand functions to assist the Commander and Executive Officer in developing and recommendingmore effective organizational systems. Analyzed resource requirements for training,supply, maintenance, transportation, facilities, manpower, operations support, informationmanagement, equipment requirements and operations requirements. Analyzed resourcerequirements to determine if they are adequately developed and justified. Oversawthe planning and execution of ammunition support to the 18th Airborne Corps. Coordinatedtraining ammunition requirements and prepared daily reports for higher headquarters.Monitored supply operations, maintenance, and external tasking with 100% accuracy.Successfully implemented and monitored a program that allowed soldiers to train ona rotating basis at the Fort Bragg Ammunition Point improving Ammunition CustomerSupport at the installation level while enhancing team readiness and boosting teammorale. Regularly attended the Ammunition Conference at Redstone Arsenal, retainingvaluable information on ammunition issues for the Corps.
