The top priority of my responsibilities as Project and Product Manager was the development of two new software applications for the volume photographic business. As Project Leader, I wrote all technical specifications managed the scheduling of work between the on-site and remote overseas development teams. I developed real world testing scenarios and managed the on-time deployment of software release dates.After release of the software and any new updates I created all training and educational materials.I continue to support the software and work to develop unique and profitable product lines that are available through software for our customers to market to their customers.Most recently I have been transitioned to create new training materials for our e-commerce solution.

Acted as the technical liaison between the customer support team and the IT department. I was part of a team that developed a new process to successfully on-board new accounts. Developed advanced educational programs for our upper tier clients teaching best practice methods for business, software use as well as in the field training. I worked on-site with customers installing software and photographic equipment in addition to helping train their staff on the use of our products.

I was hired to bring and represent the voice of the customer to the customer service team to create a better understanding of the real-world needs of the professional photographer. I worked to develop a training program for our internal team so they could better understand the needs of our customers. I spent a great deal of time helping to create an educational program that helped our customers make the transformation from film photography to digital photography. I presented programs at state and national conventions onthe topics of wedding photography, lighting, volume photography techniques.

M. Photog., Cr., CPPDuring 18 years as an independently owned photography company had 3 locations. Specialized in portrait, wedding and commercial photography. In addition to all photographic duties operated a small retail photofinishing business and managed all employees, accounting and payroll. Served on the board of the Professional Photographers of Greater Kansas City as well as President. Taught photography at local, state and national conventions. Seeing a decline in the portrait business due to the popularity of do it yourself digital photography I made a career shift from a studio owner to the photographic lab business so that I could stay viable in the photographic business.
