I've been teaching various classes at Pan for over 10 years.We do drop-in classes for all skill levels, beginner classes for those new to improv and more advanced classes for those who wish to continue.I really enjoy teaching the Improv 101 beginners' class because people come in wary and nervous, but leave enthusiastic and joyful.I started doing improv with Pan in 2009 by taking their 101 class and have never looked back. At the time Pan offered several levels of advanced classes and after completing them in 2011, our final class was invited to become a house troupe. Liquid Mind remained active as a performing troupe for over 10 years. Many players came and went, but three of us were there for the entire run and we had several members who stayed for 4-6 years. It was a great run and I learned a lot from everyone.also during this time i took acting classes at Berkeley Rep, sampled a number of other Bay Area improv theaters and took workshops with Jimmy Carrane, Liz Allen, Aretha Sills and many more - most notably David Razowsky. Razowsky comes to Pan regularly and is always a pleasure to work with.Soon after founding Liquid Mind, I began teaching drop-in classes. Eventually I began teaching 101 classes and filling-in as coach for the house troupes. Along the way I wrote some plays for our periodic play festivals and directed plays as well. I'm now regularly teaching 101 and 201 classes.

As part of the Core Development team I am involved in long-term strategic decisions regarding software architecture and tools as well as the development of tools and APIs that can be used by product developers.In the past I have built applications such as Freight Audit and back-end tools for message processing.Our focus in 2009 was upgrading our UI to the Google Web Toolkit (GWT)In 2014 we're focusing on merging two tech stacks and developing systems for the next 10 years - event-driven processing, meta-data driven systems and large data sets. I'm happy to be working with some extremely sharp people
