My duties involved using my skills as a Motion Graphic Artist as well as my technical skills to provide employee and client support and to manage all technical aspects of the company and associated projects including but not limited to:- Administering studio workstations and servers using tools such as Apple Remote Desktop or Microsoft Remote Desktop, command line applications (SSH), custom scripts, and MDM tools (Meraki, Mosyle).- Developing custom centralised templated workflows, pipelines, scripts, and policies for general studio use as well as on an individual project basis.- Administering locally distributed network rendering / render farms and facilitating additional cloud rendering options as required on a per-project basis.- Managing procurement, licensing, installation, support, and maintenance of third party software applications such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Cinema 4D, and associated plugins.- Travelling to client sites to direct on-site installers and technicians or to directly install digital signage or other playback systems for synchronous multi-screen playback and large-format LED video walls.- Performing various roles on production sets including assisting production, camera, and playback departments as well as performing data management and backup of camera originals.- Operating and administering a network of broadcast-grade video equipment including tape decks and other playback devices, video / audio patch panels and digital routers, video standards conversion devices, and video capture / playback devices for workstations (Blackmagic, AJA, etc.) - Ensuring security of company operational data using organizational security policies and modern technologies such as two-factor authentication (2FA) and password managers (LastPass, Bitwarden).
