Held 7 different positions in mortgage loan operations ranging from loan setup to processing to underwriting. Small team-centric with focus on individual high volume output. High communication with clients, employers, real estate agents, and insurance companies. Detailed scrutinization of business and personal documents for borrowers. Learned new computer software, practices, and language specific to the industry. Consistently one of the top performers on my team. Because of this, I was moved from position to position quickly to try to turn me into a "Swiss-Army knife" of the mortgage industry. Started as a "Hero": position dealt with tracking down home insurance changes/details and verification and re-verification of employment for borrowers. These were common hold-ups for loan closings, so this specialized team was formed to speed up and help facilitate the process.Then moved to "Superhero": Oversight for operations.
