From being "tossed" into my first trade show as an exhibitor in 1985, to launching Competitive Edge Training in 1991, I've had the unique privilege of working closely with over 260 B2B show organizers and hundreds of exhibiting companies in a direct training/consulting capacity. My live exhibitor seminars, workshops, webinars and Exhibitor Success & ROI Centers have reached over 100,000 exhibiting personnel. And me and my E3 team have evaluated over 32,000 exhibitors of all types and sizes in action on show floors.I believe firmly that in today's ever-changing marketing arena, trade shows will stay relevant and deliver maximum value to all parties when show organizers and exhibitors work together in a "spirit of harmony" towards the needs of the markets they serve. With more than 25 years of on the floor experinence, I've learned what's most important to drive growth for both parties: For Show Organizers: Effectively meeting exhibitor and attendee needs is "mission critical" to continued viability of the event. Delivering visible value and measurable ROI to both parties is the name of today's trade show game. For Exhibitors: Ensuring their exhibiting program visibly supports core business objectives and delivers measurable financial value, while simultaneously meeting attendee's needs is critical to continued justification of the large investment in trade shows. Working as a consultant, trainer and educator with over 260 show organizers (associations and for-profits) I've developed leading-edge exhibitor educational programs that improve exhibitor execution, satisfaction, grow net square-footage and increase revenue. A client impact study traced 39,081 additional net square-feet and $252,292 in ancillary revenue in just one year.
