I have the great opportunity to lead a terrific team of Infrastructure engineers whowork across all layers of the Data Center stack, from the physical infrastructure to the operating systems and services deployed on it. The team tackles ambiguous global problems across a global server and data center fleet, using deep technical expertise to craft innovative solutions. The team sets new standards for our data centers in global initiatives by working with key stakeholders across multiple disciplines to represent the Meta Site Operations and Infrastructure Data Center teams.

Leader within the operations engineering team that includes production hardware, information security, site operations engineers, and data center tools engineers.• Currently leading a global internal initiative around Knowledge Management strategy for the Site Operations team. This involves all aspects of people, process and tooling around knowledge management.• Lead site project management activities to ensure capacity provisioning and production operations projects are managed to completion.• Key point of contact for site reliability, data and hardware security, and operational efficiencies at the data center and across the global fleet.

Member of the Cloud Center of Excellent team which is working to transform the way Infrastructure services are delivered to Application teams. Primary responsibilities include:• Participate in design and buildout of the new First Data cloud infrastructure in AWS environment using well architected frameworks• Migration of existing infrastructure services from physical data centers to AWS cloud• Responsible for production and all operational aspects of the new cloud AWS infrastructure platform that will support mission critical applications• Manage full cloud service lifecycle from release of cloud service offerings into production• Select / Build and maintain cloud operations tools for monitoring, notifications, trending, and analysis• Work with other Cloud CoE members and security teams to create, refine, and maintain security in the cloud

Lead group within the Global Infrastructure and Operations organization responsible for maintaining the highest level of availability and performance for North America. Additionally, responsible for Business Service Management.
